Marianna Fernbaugh

Marianna began her color guard career at Mechanicsburg High School in Mechanicsburg, PA where she found her passion for the performing arts. She started her career in 2010 performing for her high school’s color guard and marching band, including their production with Contemporary Color in 2015. Marianna was also selected to be a member of the U.S Army All American Marching Band in 2017. After graduating, she moved to New York City in 2017 to pursue a career in dance and musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. While in school, she performed with Alter Ego Independent World in 2018.  Marianna began her drum corps career in 2013 with the Hawthorne Caballeros. She went on to march at Carolina Crown (2014), Cadets2 (2015-2017), The Cadets (2016-2019) and aged-out with the Santa Clara Vanguard (2020-2021). Marianna also performs at Allenberry Playhouse in various musicals, plays, and cabarets.

After graduating from AMDA, Marianna has had the opportunity to teach and choreograph for Mechanicsburg High School and Huntingtown HS. She is currently the colorguard director at West Shore School District in Lewisberry, PA. This will be her first year teaching at Vanguard and she is overjoyed to be a part of this team!
