Established in 1967, Vanguard Music and Performing Arts (VMAPA) is a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to music and movement education. Each year, our organization supports 400+ members, high school through college age, who audition to participate in our competitive ensembles: the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps and the Vanguard Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. VMAPA also supports an active education and outreach program to engage elementary students and the local Bay Area community through our Vanguard Community Arts initiative.
