Terry Maurer

Vanguard would not be the organization it is today if it wasn’t for the amazing support from outstanding volunteers like Terry. First recruited by Gail Royer to come drive for SCV in the early 1990s, he has been a mainstay on the Vanguard Fleet Team ever since. Terry has played an integral role in the design, purchase, maintenance, and management of our fleet, and is always on hand to help solve a tricky problem or save the day.

Most recently, he has been heavily involved with the design of our new Miss Amana and served on the Board of Directors from 2011 to 2018. Terry’s commitment to Vanguard, and to the drum corps activity as a whole, will be cherished and remembered for years to come!
