SCV Job Opportunities

These job opportunities are for the 2025 Santa Clara Vanguard summer tour and assignments range from May 22nd through August 14th depending on the needs of each position.

  • Assistant Chef: This position is for the full season starting May 27th with at least a two week (14-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Assist the Culinary Manager and other Chefs with creating meals for 220+ participants 3-4 times per day. Food handling and safety training is required. Have an understanding of working with different dietary restrictions, food allergies, and other needs of participants. Assist in the cleanliness and organization of our mobile kitchen, Miss Amana, as well as working with volunteers and tour staff on a regular basis. Report to the Culinary Manager and Corps Director.

 

  • Fleet/Maintenance Assistant: This position is part-time through the summer and dates may vary. Assist in setting up our mobile kitchen, Miss Amana, upon arrival at new housing and show sites. Assist in any other vehicle maintenance needs. Report to the Fleet Manager and Corps Director.

 

  • Athletic Trainer: The position is for the 2025 Season beginning May 27th with at least a week (7-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Provide health and wellness services to members with musculoskeletal needs. Reports to the Director of Health and Wellness. Must have an active license and current CPR certification. Salary is commensurate with experience.

 

  • Nurse (NP/RN): The position is for the 2025 Season beginning May 27th with at least a week (7-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Provide health and wellness services to members with medical needs. Reports to the Director of Health and Wellness. Must have an active license and current CPR certification. Salary is commensurate with experience.

 

  • Physical Therapist: The position is for the 2025 Season beginning May 27th with at least a week (7-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Provide health and wellness services to members with musculoskeletal needs. Reports to the Director of Health and Wellness. Must have an active license and current CPR certification. Salary is commensurate with experience.

 

  • Staff Bus Driver (CDL with Passenger Endorsement): Starting June 27th, provide transportation for our instructional and support staff (two positions open). Maintain cleanliness and required maintenance of the vehicles. Report to the Fleet Manager and Corps Director.

 

  • Overnight SUV Driver (Standard Non-Commercial): Starting June 27th, drive housing coordinators to each new site (usually beginning at about 11:00 PM). Report to the Fleet Manager and Corps Director.

 

  • Costuming/Seamstress: This position is for the full season with at least a two week (14-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Assist the Costuming Manager with fittings and alterations of the corps and guard uniforms/costumes during the summer. Report to the Costuming Manager and Corps Director.

 

  • Tour Assistant: This position is for the full season with at least a two week (14-day) commitment on pre-tour/ tour. Assist with all facets of the tour, including rehearsal spaces, food crew needs, health and wellness assistance, equipment needs, and more. Report to the Corps Manager and Corps Director.
