Bill Redd

Bill is excited to be joining the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2023 as the High Brass Coordinator. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he earned his degree in Music Education from Slippery University. In 2017, Bill moved to Texas and taught at Belton High School in Belton, TX before moving to North Texas in 2019. He currently works at Grapevine High School in Grapevine, TX as the Associate Band Director.

Bill is an active teacher, clinician, and judge across the country. Most recently he completed 6 years at the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps where he served as the Assistant Brass Caption Manager and was the director of the Crossmen Winds. Bill has taught both indoor and outdoor ensembles including: The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps (Denver, CO); Rhythm X Winds (Dayton, OH); Belton HS (Belton, TX), Moon Area High School Marching Band (PA); Norwin Marching Band (PA); Kiski Area Marching Band (PA); and Slippery Rock University Winter Guard (PA). Bill performed with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps and was in the inaugural cast of the 2015 WGI World Champion, Rhythm X Winds as a featured soloist.
