Hao Duong, originally from Santa Clara, CA, is the Operations Manager for Vanguard Music and Performing Arts. He joined the team in 2021 as the Asset Management Coordinator. His performance experience includes being a member of the Horn line with the San Francisco Renegades in 2011 and 2012 on Contrabass, the Vanguard Cadets in 2013 and 2014 on Tuba and as a charter member of the Vanguard Youth Brass Ensemble in 2016 as a bass trombonist.
Hao completed his studies and San Jose State University and was a member of several ensembles including the Trombone Choir, Brass Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Marching Band.
Hao is an active musician in the Bay Area and can be seen in the Bay Blue Notes at the Golden State Warriors on Sousaphone, Daddios Big Band on Bass Trombone and the San Jose Metropolitan Band on trombone and tuba.
