Maggie Ison

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Maggie currently resides in Bloomington, Indiana. She is pursuing a Master’s in Arts Administration from Indiana University, focusing on nontraditional music education and intersectional rural arts. Maggie works as the Visual Arts Fellow for Lotus World Arts & Education Foundation, where she coordinates programming and curriculum to expand community engagement with multicultural art and music. She completed her undergraduate education at Indiana University, graduating with degrees in English Literature and Philosophy.

As a performer, Maggie spent two years playing synthesizer for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, where she aged out in 2023. In 2024, she served as the lead audio engineer for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. Most recently, she worked as an audio technician for Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana.
