With over a decade of experience in education, composition, and arranging, Matt Ponce has worked with numerous scholastic and independent groups in the Southern California area.
Currently he serves as the percussion caption head at John W. North High School, the wind and percussion arranger for Patriot High School, percussion arranger for Canyon Springs High School, and as an audio engineer for RCC Indoor Percussion.
Matt holds his Bachelor’s in Music Education from the Bob Cole Conservatory at CSU Long Beach. Matt proudly endorses Innovative Percussion, Remo Inc., and the Avedis Zildjian company.
Matt currently resides in Riverside, CA.
